Many people look good on the outside but are lacking on the inside. In this presentation I give several "noodles" one must have in the Lasagna of your life so as to be a "lasagna" through and through. Often I talk about getting through difficult times in life but the talk can be adapted to a number of settings and purposes.
This is a Public Speaking seminar designed to help those who want to gain the confidence and basics skills necessary to communicate their message. It is normally a 3-day seminar but it can be adapted to 2-days or once a week for 10 weeks. Most of the sessions are also suitable as stand-alone presentations of 1-2 hours, such as: "Be" a Confident Communicator, Impromptu PE, and The CROSS Method for Building a Great Speech.
As a Christian home-school family, how do we deal with the effects of the prodigal child has on the rest of the family? When and where do we draw the line? How do we show love to the prodigal? How do we use it as a learning experience with the rest of the family? Using personal experience and the Scriptures we take a hard look at this sensitive yet relevant issue.
In this presentation I talk about how to strike the balance between "protecting" our children and "preparing" our children. I discuss how we can "get out of the bunker" and effectively train our children to face the world in which we live.
Too many times we as Christians can't seem to "get it in gear" in our lives. We can't see God's will, so we sit on the couch, or in the driveway and never get anywhere. In this presentation I talk about not so much "finding" God's will but "doing" God's will. Applying these principles can help the home-school family "put the car in gear" and move down the road to where God wants us to be.
