Teresa Knight and her husband Alan are the parents of 9 homeschooled children ages 23 - 3, 3 have already graduated. In 1993 they started Knight's Book Knook, a homeschool business that specializes in science. Teresa and her family live on a small hobby farm were they practice being more self sufficient. Teresa also heads her local support group, FAMILIES of the Greater Albany Area, www.familiesalbanyga.weebly.com, runs a whole foods coop, is an AWANA Club Leader and also operates an additional home-based business to help others make and save money. Teresa travels with her children to about 20 conventions a year as a vendor and speaker. Husband Alan stays on the homefront most of the time to tend the farm and works full time.

My Mission Statement

God has been speaking to my heart over the years to encourage other homeschool families. I have done this mostly at conventions as a vendor. Now I have felt Him calling me to speak on a few topics to help families prepare and also develop a close relationship especially with their teens.

How to Prepare For Perilous Times

With times getting more difficult, we have already learned we need to be prepared abut how? This is a practical workshop to find out things to be sure to have on hand and how to store them. How much do you need? What items are the most necessary? How do you get started and so much more.

Mother/Daughter Time

Teresa Knight and daughter Melody will share how to have a fun relationship with your children even when they become teenagers. This workshop is sure to have you laughing as well as learning the importance of gaining the heart of your children as well as practical ways to truly enjoy the children God has blessed you with.

Preparing For Perilous Times

As the days we live in become more difficult and the economy worsens we need to prepare. This workshop will concentrate on the reasons to prepare and the areas you need to get prepared in . As Christians and homeschoolers we need to be ready not only to help our own families but to show hospitality to strangers and others in need. This time we are living in will present awesome opportunities to share the gospel.....will you be ready?
