Terri Johnson, along with her husband Todd, have been teaching their children at home for 12 years. They also run a publishing company - Knowledge Quest, Inc. (www.knowledgequestmaps.com) - producing history and geography materials for the homeschool marketplace. This past year, they have started an online class - Homeschooling ABCs (www.HomeschoolingABCs) - dedicated to helping new homeschoolers gain the confidence and necessary skills to successfully teach their children at home. Terri and Knowledge Quest have recently won the "Excellence in Education" award granted by The Old Schoolhouse for best geography company of 2003, 2004 and 2008. Terri resides in Gresham, OR, along with her husband and six children whom they teach at home.

My Mission Statement

My mission as a speaker is to encourage the men and women of God who have stepped out in faith to teach their children from home. This is not the easy nor the wide road. This is a choice that brings with it many sacrifices. It is my joy when I can inspire and uplift other home educators to continue to pursue their convictions and calling as parents and teachers in their homes. My particular calling is in teaching, equipping and encouraging new homeschoolers as they begin their educational journey.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed when you are trying to teach multiple subjects to multiple ages? Sometimes it feels like we have so many balls in the air and that they are about ready to come raining down on us.
