I am a writer/speaker who enjoys making people laugh. I am available to speak to church groups and homeschool groups. I enjoy speaking on how to become a Godly woman, how to recover from grief, homeschool goal-setting, organization, record-keeping, homeschooling high school, teaching children purity and more. I was born and raised in Georgia and became a Christian at age six and a preacher's daughter at age thirteen. I have been married since 1988 and homeschool my two teenagers. I feel like the many life experiences I have had (including death of parents, near-death myself and near bankruptcy) have all happened so that I would grow closer to God and share about them with others and point them to him. I am a graduate of the Christian Writers Guild Writing for the Soul writing course. I enjoy spending my free time with family, writing, drinking coffee with friends, and bird-watching. I am an advocate of cash-only purchasing and debt-free living. A goal of my family is to be completely debt free.

My Mission Statement

I have been a writer nearly my entire life. I spent many years focusing on writing. In recent years, friends and family have encouraged me to lead small groups and to speak to people. This year, I asked God to enlarge my territory and committed to be used wherever he would have me to be used. I did not realize so many years ago that telling about my life experiences could help others. I love to make people laugh and feel encouraged. My hope is that I can encourage others in their homeschooling journey and in their journey as wives, mothers, sisters, and moms.
