Married for more than 38 years and in full-time ministry for more than 25 years, Steve and his wife Jane began homeschooling in 1982. Together they publish the award-winning homeschool curriculum "Five in a Row", (written by Jane) while maintaining a busy website, speaking, doing marriage retreats, mentoring other national homeschool leaders and enjoying their five amazing grandchildren. Steve has spoken as keynote or general session speaker more than 300 times during the past 15 years including most major state and provincial organizations including FPEA, INCH, NCHE, HEAV, MPE, HERI, TPA, CHEA, LEAH, WATCH, THSC, AHEA, SHEM, APACHE, CHEC, MASSHOPE, the MidWest HS convention in Cincinnati and dozens of others. He has also been on numerous radio interviews and authored homeschool articles for a variety of homeschool magazines. Steve also authors a encouragement daily blog for homeschool parents at http://homeschoolheaven.wordpress.com

My Mission Statement

My objective is ALWAYS to empower and equip homeschool parents by envisioning them to appropriate the grace and total sufficiency of Christ in both their homeschool and their marriage- while teaching them to reject the legalism which seeks to enslave their family with suffocating lists of must's and mustn'ts through the promise of one-size-fits-all spiritual formulas as a substitute for following the Holy Spirit's individual leading for their unique homeschool and their unique marriage.
