Pat Marcum

Pat Marcum is a veteran homeschooling father, beginning in the early 1980s. Pat has held management and executive positions in several companies marketing to the homeschool community over the last 25 years, including design and development of the successful retail program, Homeschool Headquarters. Pat is currently an independent marketing consultant, staff writer for The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, and conference speaker.

My Mission Statement

Pat believes all Christian parents must consider the important spiritual implications of placing their children under the authority of government-run schools where they are indoctrinated from kindergarten through high school into worldly thinking and practices. He encourages Christian parents to keep their children home under their protection and spiritual guidance, training them according to Scriptural commands. Pat believes his message, along with the practical resources he provides, will encourage parents in developing a godly conviction to keep their children home. Pat strongly believes that his message will help reduce homeschool attrition, and that parents will also be equipped to persuade others that all Christian parents are called to disciple their own children (and not give them to the government for their discipling).

In this seminar, you will learn how the public school, as an institution, promoted the decline of biblical morality and replaced godly standards with secular philosophy; what your children are being taught in public school - beyond the three R's; why all public schools are atheistic and why there are NO exceptions; how you, as a Christian parent, can build a spiritually strong family now and positively impact the Body of Christ for future generations; and, three truths to help you decide if schooling your children at home is the right choice for your family.
