Lisa Hodgen

Lisa Hodgen is the founder of Me and My House ministries, and the Lifestyle Education through Discipleship™ approach to biblical home education. Born-again Christian, wife of one, mom of many, home-keeper, lifelong learner, discipler of women. These are the primary areas of focus in Lisa's life. She's has been teaching and ministering mom-to-mom for nearly 3 decades, as a Proverbs 31 and Titus 2 outgrowth of her own life and learning. She is a sold out servant of Jesus, walking with Him through daily life as a help-meet to her husband of 32+ years, and mommy to 10 blessings here on earth whom she has home educated since the mid-80's (and will, Lord willing, continue into the 2020's!), and now me-mo to a growing legacy of "grands." Her ministry to women, through personal discipleship, speaking, and writing, flows from her life, home and passion for seeking Wisdom, the principle thing, that she might be conformed to the image of God's own Son.

Lisa loves to come alongside women as a "helper of their joy" on their journey as Disciples for Life! She teaches primarily on biblical discipleship/home education, health through whole and living foods nutrition, home keeping and organization, and various home arts. Her passion is to bring Freedom & Simplicity in all areas of life, through the Truth that sets people free. It is freedom through life in Christ that brings everything else into focus. As a mom-to-mom ministry she loves to encourage on everything from theology to diapering, as she seeks to glorify God through sharing the life message He has developed in her by His grace, as she walks her our journey of Discipleship for Life! Lisa's been speaking for homeschool conventions, homeschool support groups, MOPS, and giving full-day Seminars for over 15 years.
