In the course of her career as a professional mother, Kim Anderson has home-schooled her three children, advocated with her husband for Christian and home school programs with high-level Russian officials, trained lobbyists for Concerned Women for America, founded a homeschool college prep cooperative, coached national speech and debate champions, and produced summer-stock Shakespeare and award-winning independent film with her children. She is the retired Regional Coordinator for a 12-state area in the National Christian Forensics & Communication Association. She is also working with her local church to develop a Christian arts community in the Denver area. Kim blogs about college prep at www.countdown2college.net/ and about leaving a legacy as a mother at www.mother-lode.blogspot.com Ideally, if she had any spare time, she’d like to practice the piano, create a knotted herb garden, write a murder mystery and artistically arrange 30 years worth of photographs, but practically speaking, she suspects she'll have to wait for Heaven for spare time.

My Mission Statement

I am nothing special. I face the same difficulties and failures that test many others, and God has provided for me and mine. When God gives me the privilege of the platform, I want to help others to enjoy the same rescues and the same delights that God has given me in troubles. That is why the basis for my presentations springs from the Bible, even if they are primarily practical subjects. If my hearers take away with them a sense of urgency in seeking the Lord's face, whatever their question, I will count myself successful.
