Dr. Christopher Perrin

Chris has taught at Messiah College and Chesapeake Theological Seminary and served as headmaster of Covenant Christian Academy in Harrisburg, PA from its founding in 1997 until 2007. Chris serves as publisher with Classical Academic Press, which publishes texts and media for classical schools and homeschools. He received his B.A. in history from the University of South Carolina, his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in California and his Ph.D. in Apologetics from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He was also a special student in literature at St. Johns College in Annapolis.
Chris is the author of the booklet An Introduction to Classical Education: A Guide for Parents and co-author of the Latin for Children series published by Classical Academic Press. Chris and his wife Christine live in Camp Hill, PA with their three children Zoe, Noelle and Noah.
My Mission Statement
My mission is (1) to help parents and teachers to discover the beauty and value of studying subjects such as Latin, Greek, great literature, logic and rhetoric; (2) to enable parents and teachers to teach classical subjects with creativity, joy and efficacy; (3) to impart an understanding of the history and philosophy of education and so enable parents and teachers to wisely evaluate educational trends, teaching methods and curricula.
