Homeschooling older children with preschool-age children in the mix (particularly infants and toddlers) can be hectic. We moms often feel like we're neglecting one thing or another: home management, academics, or the needs of our little ones. When we focus on "being" rather than "doing" and keep the blessings of this season of life in mind, we can continue to experience joy in spite of the occasional chaos.
Whether you suffer from occasional blues or clinical depression, there is hope! This talk explores the Scriptures as they address the role of our emotions and encourages women to cooperate with God, in things both practical and spiritual, to overcome those negative emotions.
A mom's first and greatest priorites in ministry are to be a helpmate to her husband, to love and disciple her children, and to keep her home in a way that honors the Lord. During this season of life, it's easy to get discouraged that we're not "doing" more for the Lord--so let this talk (based on Titus 2:4-5) encourage you about all that you ARE doing!
In this session, Cindy shares the solidly biblical and values-based training methods and systems that the Carriers have successfully implemented in their home. It simplifies Biblical instruction in a way that even the youngest of children can understand, with the goal of growth in Christlike character.
Be encouraged about the GOOD things that God is working as you walk through the valleys!
"The Values-Driven Family" brings together, in a balanced way, everything that the Bible says about family living. It covers family leadership, parenting essentials (training, encouragement, and discipline), family relationship-building, and even practical things like budgets and schedules and "children and chores." It is the most comprehensive resource out there--easy to read and apply!

"Values-Driven Discipleship" sums up, in twelve "core value" concepts, the traits that express Christlike character. It spells out and organizes key Bible verses that you can leverage to get to your child's heart with God's Word. Use it proactively to teach through the verses and help your child to grow in the values that God values: Faith, Surrender, Love, Faithfulness, Wisdom, Self-Control, Righteousness, Holiness, Humility, Diligence, Generosity, and Praise. Or, when issues and incidents arise, go to the handy index to look up those behaviors, and find verses for correction and re-direction.
